Thank you Victor Lee from Knoxville, Tennnessee (and Sam Luce for posting the blog article).

Miley Cyrus - I'm so disappointed in you....
I am extremely sad to see what Hannah Montana is doing now! Over and over these amazing role models are lead down the path of destruction! I was a fan of Britney Spears, so much for that one. I was a fan of Lizzie McGuire, so much for that one...But Miley - I really thought this one was for life!
Jonas Brothers, PLEASE don't be the next to disappoint this mom of tween girls (Justin Beiber - you too!)
Please see Dannah Gresh's posts regarding Miley: http://blog.secretkeepergirl.com/

My latest (and most important) Project....
I am reading the most amazing book! The authors are Reggie Joiner and Carey Nieuwhof and the title of the books is:
Parenting Beyond Your Capacity
Parenting Beyond Your Capacity
I got this idea from the book - and tweaked it just a bit!
If you are a Christian woman/friend and would like to contribute to this year-long project for my oldest daughter - Brooke, I would truly value your contribution.
If you would like to create a similar project for YOUR child, please feel free. But don't give ME the credit - it goes to Carey! Get the book - I'm sure there are more fabulous ideas - I'm only on page 81!
Until next time.

Already June?????
Oh my goodness, it's been so long since I last created a post!
In an effort to draw nearer to God (and an attempt to obtain His Wisdom and direction), I have purposely distanced myself from the computer at home. With that, not only have I been silent on my blog, but I haven't even been on Facebook! It's funny - although I have enjoyed my time of solitude, I miss everyone!
I am starting to realize, in my old age, there is something to this BALANCE thing. I really need to pray for that! I tend to be all or nothing - I think I was raised that way. My daddy use to say, "If you're not going to do something right, why do it at all?" I think I took him WAY TOO literal...
Well, better run - just taking a lunch break. I couldn't stay away one more day....
