End of the week....

Well, here it is Saturday mid-morning. I love a Saturday with no commitments (however, I also love Saturdays with planned activities!). The reason I love today is that I can do WHAT I want, WHEN I want. This morning has been awesome - doing some housework, IN BETWEEN fun stuff (like blogging, checking e-mail, watching part of a movie, reading a few papers).

Next I'll be making something for lunch (not sure what - oh, probably FRESH fruit and salad from the produce market around the corner!), then sitting with the girls - probably watching a TV show/part of another movie. Can you tell, we LOVE movies in this house?!?!?!

My favorite movies are "thinking/crying" movies. The ones that REALLY make you consider what's important in life - ones that make you ponder your life (what you've done and what you have left to do). I had the opportunity to watch the Bucket List last year - WOW, THAT's a GREAT movie! The actors, OF COURSE (Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson - they don't get any better!), but the idea of accomplishing tasks/trips/learning that are important to YOU personally. I have SO MUCH left to do - but taking it one day at a time!

Well, I better run...I need to finish the laundry (so I can start PACKING FOR ORANGE!!!!). Can YOU say EXCITED!?!?!?! OH MY GOSH! I can't wait to meet the amazing leaders I follow (on-line and in writing!). I plan to take LOTS of notes (and get very little sleep)!

Upcoming Event

THE CONFERENCE OF THE YEAR!!!!! ORANGE 2010

I am SOOOOO excited to be traveling to Atlanta next week to attend Orange 2010! I was privileged to attend Orange in 2008 and it totally changed my life! This year, I'm returning as a volunteer - working WITH Rethink! Can you imagine!?!?! Being back-stage with these leaders! Oh my gosh, I'm SOOOO excited!
Leading children at Northside Christian Church has been the MOST rewarding opportunity of my life - well, besides loving the Lord and my family! That always comes first! But I feel so completely blessed to be able to serve!
If I have access to a computer while I'm in Atlanta, I will post updates! If not, you'll just have to wait until I get home - Sunday, May 2nd - around 6 pm! On the weekend, I will be staying with my "bestest friend" - Michelle (you know who you are!). I am TRULY looking forward to that!
I am praying for the Rethink Team as they complete preparations for the conference next week; at this point there are 4,000 participants registered (I've seen that a couple participants are from other countries!). What an amazing opportunity!!!!!
